At AML, we treat each diagnostic challenge individually, based on the symptoms described by our customer. We begin by confirming symptoms wherever possible through road-testing or whatever means may be appropriate for a given problem. Next, a search is done for any relevant technical service bulletins made available by the manufacturer, and tests are performed which pertain to the symptoms described. After identifying the fault(s), additional tests may be done to uncover potential problems that may become apparent after eliminating known symptoms. In this way, our diagnostic efforts are maximized, diagnostic time is minimized and unnecessary come-backs are prevented. AML has the tools, training and experience needed to streamline the diagnosis of most North American, Asian and European cars and light trucks.

TIP : Whenever experiencing poor driveability, whether sluggish performance, difficult starting or poor performance, it is usually a good idea to ensure that maintenance operations such as fuel system service and tune-up are up-to-date before starting diagnosis. After all, it would be a shame to spend an hour of diagnostic time to determine that the spark plugs need to be replaced!
